To kick off a new round of Collective Reward gear giveaways, we’ve teamed up with North x North to set up five Bikepacking Collective members with an ultra practical and infinitely useful Merino Handkerchief. Find complete details here…

Now that prizes have been shipped to all of the lucky Bikepacking Collective members who won one of the 44 items in our last round of Collective Rewards, we’re kicking off a fresh batch of giveaways. To start, we’re setting up five members with a North x North Merino Handkerchief, a daily essential that every bikepacking kit should include. We use ours for pre-filtering water, keeping cool, grabbing hot items from the campfire, and countless other purposes.

I’ve had one of these North x North Merino Handkerchiefs in my handlebar bag on every ride over the past several weeks and I’ve been really impressed by it. It’s durable, super soft, and totally itch-free. Here in the Sonoran Desert, mine’s been indispensable for wiping away sweat and providing a bit of sun protection during breaks. It dries quickly, doesn’t absorb odors, and the 25″ x 25″ size feels just about perfect, though North x North also offers a massive 42″ x 42″ version. At $35, it’s a pricey handkerchief, but I think it’s worth every penny given its quality merino construction and the fact that it can come along on trips for years to come.
