We’re kicking off another batch of Collective Reward gear giveaways with a set of New Jersey-made cranks from Ignite Components, who will be setting up one site supporter with a pair of their Catalysts or Infernos in silver or black, a $529 value for one lucky member of the Bikepacking Collective. Our 168th giveaway to date also includes hardware in our winner’s choice of color.

You may have spotted a set of Catalyst cranks on Miles’s Velo Orange Neutrino last year, as pictured above. They certainly caught my eye at the time, and I’m excited that founder Ian Colquhoun of Ignite Components generously suggested machining a set for one of our members to enjoy as well. And because the Catalysts might not suit our winner’s unque needs, Ian is offering the Inferno cranks (pictured below) as an alternative, should they work better.

Ignite Inferno Cranks

Ignite’s mission is to produce parts that are “strong, light, and absolutely beautiful,” and they’ve accomplished all three with the Catalysts and Infernos. The Ignite Catalyst cranks weigh 510-550 grams with spindle and hardware, have a 168mm Q-factor and 95-100mm K-factor, and are available in 155-175mm lengths. The Ignite Inferno cranks tip the scales are 490-540 grams with spindle and hardware, have a 149mm Q-factor and 89-96mm K-factor, and are offered in 155-180mm lengths. Both models use a 30mm spindle and feature a limited lifetime warranty. You can find complete details and learn more about the small brand over at IgniteComponents.com.
