Our 208th Collective Reward giveaway comes from Tectonic Components in Durango, Colorado, who are providing pairs of their new Alibi Pedals to a couple of randomly selected site supporters. Find details on the Alibis and join the Bikepacking Collective for a chance to win here…
Released earlier this month, the Alibi Pedals are the latest product from Tectonic Components out of beautiful Durango, Colorado. They’re comfy and grippy platform pedals made from a unique blend of recovered ocean plastic and post-industrial waste carbon fiber. According to Tectonic, they’re stronger and lighter than aluminum, too. We’re thrilled to be giving away a pair to a couple of randomly selected Bikepacking Collective members for Collective Reward #208, a $100 value for each winner.

The new Alibi pedals have a 125 x 110mm platform, 2.5mm dual concavity, and an inboard bushing/outboard bearing spindle system. They use Tectonic’s patented traction pins that are secured via a side-loading bolt, allowing them to be removed in either direction so they won’t get stripped like threaded pins. The pedals are made in Taiwan, weigh 395 grams (14 ounces) per pair, and come with a limited lifetime warranty. You can find full details at Tectonic Components.
