Dolgoch isn’t a traditional cycling film. Find out why as you follow Holly, Emma Jane, and India to Dolgoch, a remote hostel in the middle of the Cambrian Mountains, “the last wilderness of Wales.”
After working on a few other cycling projects, filmmaker Andrew Telling (@andrewtelling) was ready to do something a little different. Fortuitously, British apparel brand Albion gave Andrew full creative control to make Dolgoch, which tells a story about the Cambrian Mountains in Welsh, a Celtic language spoken natively in Wales. The film follows three riders to Dolgoch, a remote hostel in the middle of the Cambrians, to ride local roads and spend time together at a different pace.
And that’s what appeals to me. It’s bare, nothing to see but the land itself.
