A new addition to the DOOM route offerings, event organizer Andrew Onerma took to YouTube for a DOOM Dismay 2025 Course Breakdown. Just short of 109 miles and featuring a hefty 11,421 feet of elevation gain, the DOOM Dismay course is one for those looking to dip their toe into the Arkansas event routes. Though it doesn’t feature any singletrack, Andrew says it still gets “appropriately rowdy,” recommending a minimum of 47mm tires or greater.

The video also gives detailed descriptions of water spigots, campgrounds, segments of the course and their difficulty, and general expectations regarding course details and beta. It’s a solid look at the new DOOM Dismay 2025 Course, and one I’m sure plenty are bound to find useful. I’ll be at DOOM 2025 running my own race and doing some coverage, so it’s nice to see some in-depth previews of a course and place I’ve only seen in photos and videos. Arkansas is a state I’ve spent very little time in but incredibly intrigued by, and I can’t wait to see what Andrew has in store for the this year’s event.
