Bedrock Sandals’ fall/winter Mountain Clog lineup includes four new earth-tone colorways: birch bark, pinecone, obsidian dark grey, and obsidian black. Take a closer look here…

Although Bedrock Sandals might be better known for their impressive lineup of adventure sandals, their Mountain Clogs, which were first introduced two years ago, have been a major hit. They’ve been described as “a shoe for sandal people” or “shoulder season sandals,” mixing the same zero-drop profile as their sandals with subtle arch support, a similar strap system, and the benefits of a closed-toe design and thicker sole. The first batch sold out immediately, the second batch was stolen during transit, and since then, they’ve been on a roll, releasing fresh new color options.

I’ll admit I wasn’t sold on the idea of adventure clogs when we first reviewed them, but I eventually caved and got some of my own, and I haven’t looked back. They’ve quickly become my go-to shoe to slip on when running into town, working in the basement, and commuting by bike. I find them stiff enough for casual rides, and they are perfect for cooler days, which is precisely what is on the way here in British Columbia. After seeing my friend Noah wear his for our recently Alberni Bam Bam scouting trip (see above), I’m considering giving them a shot for that as well.

Bedrock Sandals’ fall/winter collection includes many popular carry-over styles/colors, with the addition of four fresh new earth-tone colorways in suede and vegan leather, as well as a new blacked-out Obsidian collection. The drop includes birch bark (suede), pinecone (synthetic suede), obsidian dark grey (nubuck), and obsidian black (synthetic suede). They cost $175 for the nubuck leather version and $160 for the suede version.

The new lineup is available online through BedrockSandals.com or via one of their dealers, which includes Dismount Bike Shop in Canada, who offers a discount for Bikepacking Collective members!
