Farr’s new Twin-T frame blurs the lines between modern mountain bike, gravel bike, old school BMX, vintage MTB, and pretty much everything else. This chromoly steel off-road bike is perhaps the most interesting thing we’ve seen in a while. Learn more here…

Taking design cues from old-school BMX frames and trellis-style Motorcycle frames that date back more than three decades, the Twin-T is Farr’s latest frame. And if we’ve learned anything from Farr over the last few years, there’s no explanation needed. At its core, the Farr Twin-T is a 29er hardtail mountain bike, with modern geometry and standards that make it perfect for custom, versatile builds. Farr says the Twin-T is suitable to build up as a bikepacking rig for multi-day adventures or as a drop-bar gravel bike for fast dirt road outings.

The frame, which is sold with a headset, rear axle, and seat clamp, has two bottle mounts in the main triangle, internal dropper post routing, fully external cable routing, and sliding dropouts. It can accommodate both 29 X 2.35″ and 27.5 x 2.6″ tires, and can be built up with a rigid fork or a suspension fork with 120mm of travel. To help get the creative juices flowing, Farr worked with their friends at The Bike Mason and Melody Wheels, based out of Perth, Australia, to build up gravel and mountain bike Twin-T builds.
