Spotted at the Bespoked show in Dresden last month, Danish builder Mads Hulsrøj Jæger recently released a tabless version of his Denmark-made stainless bottle cage. It’s available in left, right, or symmetrical designs and looks ideal for hauling a Klean Kanteen or other metal bottle. See it here…
While circling the passenger terminal at Dresden International Airport during the Bespoked handmade bike show last month, Danish framebuilder Mads Hulsrøj Jæger pulled me aside to show off a freshly made batch of his new Hulsroy No Tab Bottle Cage, a new spin on the popular Hulsroy Bottle Cage we shared back in January. As with the original, Mads is offering the No Tab Bottle Cage in left, right, and symmetrical designs that open up options for loading bottles in tight spaces.
Every Hulsroy No Tab Bottle Cage is made by hand from silver-brazed stainless steel in Mads’s workshop in Aarhus, Denmark. Unlike cheaper aluminum cages that tend to snap, Hulsroy’s stainless cages blend form and function and can easily be bent back into place if needed. Without the tab, they’re optimized for hauling tall steel bottles, such as 800ml Klean Kanteens. The left- and right-loaded designs help maximize available frame space. The cages also sit a tad lower than many alternatives, eking out a little extra room for a partial frame bag.
Mads is selling the premium Hulsroy No Tab Bottle Cages for €44 ($47.50) each, and all variations are in stock now. You can find more details and order one over at Hulsroy.com.
