In Fairlight’s second short film in their Fairlight Riders series, Mark Bentley (aka Bentley Components) muses on his relationship with his local riding area in Yorkshire Moors, how he fell into making machined parts for bikes, and how “following his nose” on a mountain bike is still where his riding passion lies. After a three-year stint with GCN in the early part of her career, Katherine Moore is now a freelance bike journalist who writes for several publications, including BIKEPACKING.com and Lonely Planet. In the first short film in the Fairlight Riders series, Katherine reflects on how a love of cycling encouraged her to follow her heart and make the substantial career jump from livestock nutritionist to cycling journalist.
