Teased last week at Sea Otter, the new Moots Forager is what the Colorado-based brand describes as “an overlanding machine” for all seasons and all terrain. The Forager builds on Moots’ 20+ years of fat bike design and manufacturing. It’s is built up around a US-made titanium frame and standard fat bike specs such as 197mm rear hub spacing, a 120mm bottom bracket shell, and boost fork spacing. For this project, Moots chose some of the largest tubing they’ve ever used, resulting in what they claim is the strongest, stiffest, and best tracking fat bike they’ve ever made.

The frame has internal dropper post routing, eternally routed cables and hoses, 1x drivetrain compatibility, and although it’s not covered in bosses for racks or cages, most sizes come with mounts for two bottles. Forager production is limited to just 50 complete bikes with a scheduled delivery beginning November 2022. Find complete build details and frame specs below.
