Last spring, Bassi Cycles from Quebec teased an all-terrain bicycle, and we’re excited to share the news that it’s finally here. The Bassi Coyote is a steel ATB designed to be a capable trail bike as well as a loaded bikepacking rig. It gets its name from the adaptable North American canine living in Bassi’s backyard and also from a ranch of the same name found somewhere along the Baja Divide in Mexico.
The Bassi Coyote is based around a 4130 Chromoly steel frame, a matching rigid fork, and Boost thru-axles. There are three-pack mounts on the fork legs and under the downtube, two standard bottle mounts, and rear rack mounts. The frame is set up with sliding dropouts for singlespeed and geared setups, and the frame is suspension corrected to accept 120mm forks. It has clearance for 27.5 x 3.0″ or 29 x 2.4″ tires, dropper post routing, and the frame graphics and colors are on point.
The Coyote comes in three sizes (14.5″, 17.5″, and 19.5″) and your choice of Sunbathing Yellow or Stargazing Blue. The frame and fork cost $1,350 CAD ($1,023 USD) and are available now. Head over to ClCycle.ca to learn more.
