The CINQ Plug6 Plus builds on Tout Terrain’s growing lineup of integrated top cap dynamo chargers with a USB-C port and a new charging optimizer for consistent power at all speeds. Check it out here…
Dynamos are a great way to generate power and keep electronics topped up while traveling far from the comforts of civilization, but it’s not quite as simple as tossing a dynamo hub on your bike and calling it a day. Some gadgets and lights can be powered directly from the dynamo, but most low-draw electronics that are sensitive to power output benefit from using an in-line USB charger to convert raw AC into smooth 5V DC USB power.

The Tout Terrain CINQ Plug is a popular USB charger that tucks neatly inside your bike’s steerer tube, replacing the top cap with a nifty low-profile charger with an easily accessible USB-C port. Building on their lineup of CINQ Plug chargers, the new Tout Terrain CINQ Plug6 Plus is the sixth iteration of the German brand’s dynamo-powered USB Charger.
The 24.1mm power shaft is designed to fit snugly inside a standard 1-1/8” fork steerer tube. The device is completely weather-sealed, including dust, rain, and temperatures ranging from 5°F to 140°F (-15 to 60°C). It has a twist-top cap to cover the USB-C port when not in use and is equipped with a charging optimizer that ensures a consistent power supply, no matter your speed. For a more minimal and affordable option, the CING Plug5 Pure saves 145 grams and doesn’t have a charging optimizer.

The CINQ Plug6 Plus weighs 195 grams and is now available in North America at Tout-Terrain.bike for $359.00.
