Jerónimo Cycles is the brainchild of Nordest’s Pedro Jerónimo, and it’s been around since 2010. Years ago, Jerónimo relaunched their flagship models, the Sfarrapa and Txabardo, and just last month, they announced the Pinion gearbox-equipped Maletta Ti hardtail. Building on this momentum, Jerónimo Cycles’ latest model is an upgraded titanium version of the steel Sfarrapa.
Like the steel version, the Jeronimo Cycles Sfarrapa II Ti is named after a well-known smuggler from the small village in northeastern Portugal where Pedro was born and raised. It’s designed around a titanium Ti3Al2.5V double-butted frame, 650b or 700c wheels, and internal downtube or internal headset cable routing. They’ve also moved to a T47 bottom bracket and 3D-printed chainstay yoke to clean up the cable routing around the bottom bracket.

The Sfarrapa II Ti has clearance for 29 x 2.1″ or 27.5 x 2.4″ tires, uses a SRAM UDH rear dropout, and has 12mm thru-axles front and back. The frame has a slick matte finish with anodized decals, a compass graphic on the top tube, and a dotted-line map down the backside of the seat tube. There’s internal dropper post routing for a 27.2mm seatpost, and it’s designed for a 400mm long fork with a 52mm rake. The optional Jerónimo Carbon fork has three-pack mounts, flat-mount brakes, and dynamo routing.
The Sfarrapa II Ti is offered in four stock frame sizes, all with a 70° head tube angle, 74° seat tube angle, and 75mm bottom bracket drop. There’s also a custom version for an additional ~€300 for those who want made-to-order geometry and other add-ons.
