Otso Cycles’ adaptable and adjustable Voytek 2 is a fatbike, 29+ rigid bike, and everything in between. They just announced three new colorways, right on time for cooler temperatures, and you can get a first look at them here…
The Otso Voytek was first released in 2016, positioned as a versatile hybrid between a dedicated fatbike and a go-anywhere 29+ mountain bike. From the beginning, it set itself apart from other fatbikes thanks to its narrow Q-factor and XC-inspired geometry, as well as its versatility, which allows it to run massive 26 x 4.6″ tires in the winter or 27.5+ or 29+ mountain bike wheels in the summer.

Released two years ago, the Otso Voytek 2 maintains all the features we liked on the original but makes major shifts to the geometry and frame. Plus, it includes an interesting new adjustable headset, called the GeoChip, that allows for further tweaks to the front of the bike. One set of GeoChip flip chips allows for +/- 10mm of reach adjustment, another allows for +/- 1° of head tube angle adjustment, and the third allows for +/- 2° of head tube angle adjustment.
I spent several months testing the original Voytek in both fat bike and 29+ modes, and in my review, I praised its generous tire clearance, narrow Q-factor, the number of mounting points on the frame and fork, and its impressively lightweight build kit. The Voytek isn’t a cheap bike, by any means, but the details and thoughtful component selection leave very little to be desired.

Although no specs are changing for 2025, Otso just released three fresh colorways that are available to purchase now. The new colors are Double Spruce (teal), Winter Tuxedo (black), and Midnight Highlight (blue/purple). All three colors, along with some previous options, are available as a frameset for $3,195 or as one of three standard builds starting at $3,995. Otso also has a custom bike configurator that allows customers to choose their drivetrain, components, wheels, and nearly everything else on the bike.
