Wanting to create a statement piece that travels equally well on and off the bike, the new Outer Shell Magic Tote is a packable storage solution for commuters and bikepackers alike. For more on this new wearable bag, read on below…
Following the success of their cross-body bag, the Magic Musette, the new Outer Shell Magic Tote elaborates on that simple idea. Wanting to create a statement piece that shines through both its form and function, the small, small California-based brand sought to make something that travels just as well on the bike as it does off.
The Magic Tote features a tapered shape and a curved zipper on the main storage compartment, with soft rope shoulder straps doubled for heavy hauls. With two length-adjustment buckles, the bag also has a removable stabilizer cord and a built-in stash pocket. There are two sleeve pockets on the outside, and the inner compartment features a zipper pocket that doubles as a stuff sack.
The bag itself is made of weather-resistant 210D UltraGrid, weighs 6.8 ounces, and is 15” wide, 14” tall, and 3.5” deep. At $135, the Magic Tote comes in a variety of interesting colors, including BlackOut, Blue Smoke, Coyote Brown, Very Berry, and Avocado, each with complementary-colored straps. For those who act quickly, 10 Ultra 200TX bags are also available for purchase at $236 each.
