The Pine FRST is a new gravel bike that offers 700c x 58mm (29 x 2.3″) tire clearance, removable dropouts, a US-made frameset, and timeless aesthetics. Discover all the details on the small brand’s latest model below…

The Pine FRST is a fresh gravel bike from the Seattle-based maker that promises modularity, large tire clearances, and a supple, made-in-the-USA frameset. FRST stands for “Full Rigid Single Track,” and it features modern geometry, clearance for up to 700c x 58mm or 29 x 2.3″ tires, Columbus tubing, custom UDH Dropouts, three-pack fork mounts, and a downtube bottle mount. Playing a key role in the design of the ENVE Adventure Fork, Pine owner Kevin McClelland is bringing his DIY attitude and preference for form and function to the new Pine FRST. Of course, the FRST is specced with the ENVE fork, so it’s something of a full-circle moment for Kevin.

Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the Pine FRST is the removable Tabula dropouts. With standards changing all the time, the removable element of the dropout design leaves room for future innovation and the chance for customers to spec a variety of drivetrain options. Kevin’s prior model, the RASA, featured something similar and is a through-line for the young brand. The maximum chainring size for the FRST is a 44T on a 1x and 46/30 on a 2x. The FRST also has a 28.6mm band for a front derailleur, 12×100/12×142 hub spacing, a 29.8/30.0mm seatpost collar, 27.2mm dropper compatibility, and a 68mm threaded BB shell.
