The Portland Design Works Zit Bitz are decorative frame bolts designed to fill unused eyelets and turn your bike into the most stylin’ rig in town. Check them out here…
As bikepackers, we always appreciate extra mounting points for racks, cages, and other cargo. The more the merrier. But even with a fully kitted-out bikepacking setup or rack-and-pannier setup for commuting and running errands, there’s a good chance your frame has some unused eyelets just waiting to accept their their threaded counterpart. That’s where the new Portland Design Works Zit Bitz come in.
Zit Bitz are purely decorative frame bolts designed to fill unused frame and fork eyelets while adding some flair in the process. Made from machined alloy, they are anodized black and feature a range of laser-engraved designs. And while we’re not certain, there surely has to be some aerodynamic advantage to running Zit Bitz as well.
Portland Design Works offers five sets to choose from, each with four bolts. They cost $15 per set and are available now from RidePDW.com.
