Priority Bicycles has a history of collaborating with YouTuber Ryan Van Duzer on new bike models designed for specific types of terrain and routes. In 2020, they launched the 600X together, which Ryan tested on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. In 2024, the 600ADX took its place, and its $3,500 price tag made it one of the most affordable Pinion-equipped bikepacking bikes we’ve seen. Priority’s latest model fills the gap between the more off-road capable 600ADX and the 600 All-Road, as a rigid, big-tired bikepacking bike, or as Priority calls it, “a dual-terrain gear hauler.”
The new Priority Bruzer was inspired by viewer feedback from Ryan’s YouTube channel and Priority’s existing customers. Digging through the comments and feedback, they learned that people wanted them to stick with a Pinion gearbox and belt drive system, but not everyone was seeking a bike to tackle the Tour Divide or wanted to fork out loads of cash to get a bike. The Bruzer comes in at $2,499 USD, making it one of the best-priced Pinion/Gates belt drive bikes out there.

“Our project began with a challenge to make bikepacking more accessible to riders who may feel intimidated by either the activity or the price of a quality ride,” said Duzer. “I asked our community for feedback about their needs, and from those conversations, the Bruzer was born. It’s a bike that takes the best of both worlds—road and trail—without the hassle of constant maintenance, inviting more people to enjoy the freedom of bikepacking. With essential features like the Pinion gear system and Gates Belt Drive, purpose-built for performance and durability, we’ve created a bike that offers exceptional value at a great price point, ensuring a smoother, more reliable ride for every adventurer.”

The Priority Bruzer is built around a 6061 aluminum frame and chromoly steel fork. It has all the mounts you could ever need, including top tube bosses, bottle mounts, downtube mounts, rack mounts, bottle mounts on the seat stays, and three-pack mounts on the fork legs. It can clear 29 x 2.6″ tires front and back, but some 29 x 2.8″ tires will fit in the rear, and most 29 x 3.0″ tires will fit up front.
The Bruzer is designed to accommodate a 120mm travel fork for those looking to push its capabilities even further. It features a C1.12 Pinion gearbox with an evenly-spaced 12-speed system boasting a 600% gear range, a Gates Carbon CDX belt, and is only available with the standard grip-shifter, not the Pinion Smart.Shift that comes on the 600HXT I tested last summer.
The Bruzer comes in four sizes (S-XL), with a 67.5° head tube angle, 74° seat tube angle, 456mm chainstays, and wheelbases ranging from 1,135mm to 1,208mm. The build kit includes Tektro HB-M745 Hydraulic disc brakes, WTB KOM Trail wheels, Kenda Booster Pro 29″ x 2.6″ tires, and Priority’s new high-engagement (6 pawl, 2 phased, 60 points of engagement) rear hub. It’s available for pre-order now through May 26th at a special price of $2,299 USD. After that, it will cost $2,499. Bikes are expected to ship to customers by July 31st. It’s available in two colors: Pumpkin (orange) or Storm (blue).
