With the versatile City Loader, Restrap offers a top-loading front bag that’s up for anything you might want to tackle on a Brompton folding bike. Find details here…
We love top-loading handlebar bags for their fantastic versatility and ease of access, and with their new City Loader, Restrap has developed a fold-top bag for Brompton riders looking to carry their gear out front. With its generous 20-liter capacity and the option to lash a jacket or dry bag to the outside, the City Loader seems well-suited for anything from the daily commute to a picnic in the woods or an easy overnighter.
Unlike universal handlebar bags, the City Loader mounts low on the Brompton front carrier block, which keeps it off the folding mechanism and should offer sufficient stability for the kind of terrain you’d want to ride on a folding bike with tiny wheels. Equipped with a carry handle and removable shoulder strap, it transitions to a convenient day bag when off of the bike. Restrap claims the two main compartments are completely waterproof thanks to the waterproof nylon construction and liner with taped seams—a feature we think both commuters and Brompton bikepackers will greatly appreciate. The Restrap City Loader is available now in black, navy, and olive.
