Expanding on their line of monster gravel bikes, Rodeo Labs just launched the Flaanimal Ti 6.0. Featuring a new yolk-less chainstay design, native UDH compatibility, and modular cable routing options, the new Rodeo Labs Flaanimal Ti 6.0 is more than just a change of material. Get the scoop here…
New to their impressive lineup of dirt-focused bikes is the Rodeo Labs Flaanimal Ti 6.0. As a tweak on their popular and much-beloved Flaanimal 5.0, the new titanium gravel monster makes subtle albeit worthwhile and noteworthy changes to an already extremely capable bike. More than just an offering in a different material, Rodeo Labs’ Flaanimal 6.0 Ti makes a variety of changes across its tried and true “quiver-killer” geometry that is bound to garner excitement.
Among the slew of adjustments from the Flaanimal 5.0 is the improvement on 29″ tire clearance. Where the prior iteration of the Flaanimal allowed riders to squeeze in a 29 x 2.1″ at the peril of their chainstays, the new Rodeo Labs Flaanimal Ti 6.0 gives ample clearance at that width. While they were coy on what the max clearance is, we’re glad to hear you won’t be sweating when fitting what’s quickly become a modern gravel standard.
With the “Lock Jaw” modular dropout system, UDH compatibility is now native to the Flaanimal while maintaining the flexibility bikes from Rodeo Labs have become synonymous with. Standard hanger compatibility and 30mm of adjustment through the sliders is pretty cool to see and all but future-proofs the bike. The bottom bracket has also been re-worked, featuring a larger area for internally routed cables to play nicely with the bottom bracket shell through a threaded T47 system dubbed “The Keg.”
Adding to the flexibility baked into the design philosophy apparent at Rodeo Labs is their expansion of geo offerings for the Flaanimal Ti 6.0. With two distinct geometry offerings (standard and extended), customers can dial in their fit on a more granular level. Aimed at serving those with either racing or touring desires, it’s nice to see a smaller bike company provide even more options for those looking for the perfect fit.

As always, the Rodeo Labs Flaanimal Ti 6.0 can be ordered as a frameset (frame + fork) or in a variety of custom build options set by the Rodeo Labs team. Cerakote paint kits as well as standard paint jobs are available at an additional cost, and customers can expect the Flaanimal Ti 6 to ship around late February 2025. It’s great to see Stephen and the rest of the team continue to improve and iterate on what was already a great design. Although the term ‘quiver killer’ is often over-used in the saturated bike marketing landscape, it’s hard to see past the flexibility on offer with the new Ti 6. From the EC44 headtube to the internal front and rear dynamo routing, I’m glad to see a modern bike company bend over backwards to give its customers so much modularity.
Frame and fork pricing for the Flaanimal Ti 6 starts at $3,500, and preset builds range between $5,500 for a Microshift build to a $12,700 build for the blue and white bike pictured above. For more on the Rodeo Labs Flaanimal Ti 6.0, head to Rodeo-Labs.com.
