Just in from Eurobike, RONDO announced their new MYLC drop-bar bike for rough terrain this morning. Find details and photos of the mountain bike-inspired design here…

Furthering the trend of new gravel bikes blurring the lines between road-ish and mountain bikes, RONDO just released their new aggressively styled MYLC, which they call an “off-road plus gravel bike” that seeks to push the envelope of what a gravel bike can be. With the MYLC, RONDO says they broke from the archetype of road bikes, instead drawing inspiration from mountain bikes to maximize the off-road stability and comfort of their new design, particularly when descending rough terrain.

In more concrete terms, the MYLC received a significantly longer-than-average top tube and slackened head tube to make for a longer front center that should keep the rider in control when the trail turns steep and loose. The short seat tube clears longer dropper posts and reduces standover height. The fork features RONDO’s TwinTip axle for variable rake and three-pack mounts. The MYLC officially fits 47mm wide tires on 700C rims.
