We’re super excited to soon unveil a project we’ve been working on for well over a year. Premiering on the Wahoo YouTube channel at 9:00 AM EDT on October 13th, 2020, Ruta Chingaza is a film by Rugile Kaladyte that documents our trip on the incredible bikepacking route of the same name.
This week-long loop traverses a fantastic array of remote landscapes in Colombia’s Cordillera Oriental and accesses the critical paramos ecosystems that provide and regulate the water for nearly eight million people in the city of Bogotá. Watch the trailer below, and be sure to tune in next week to see the route and watch the feature film in its entirety.
