Santa Cruz and sister company Juliana just released their all new race/XC bikes and both look quite interesting with a new TR (trail) option, a massive triangle, and more mounts than most full-squish bikes. According to Santa Cruz, “We tapped into everything we’ve learned from years of making the highest quality carbon full-suspension bikes so that we could put as little (weight) as possible into the Blur frame.” Watch the launch video below and scroll down for details…

Santa Cruz Blur TR and XC

With a claimed weight of 23 pounds complete, the new Blur is the lightest, full-suspension carbon XC bike Santa Cruz has ever made. The Blur frame is 289g lighter than the previous model and comes in two model lines, the XC with 100mm of suspension front and rear, and the TR with with 115mm rear and 120mm front. The TR also gets slightly beefier Maxxis Rekon tires, a full height adjust dropper post, and larger brake rotors. According to Santa Cruz, “it’s not a trail bike, it’s a XC bike for certain courses.” The XC model comes in five build kits priced from $5199 and the TR is offered in six kits starting at $4599.

Juliana Wilder TR and XC

The all-new Juliana Wilder is essentially the same bike as the Blur with Juliana’s typical women’s specific touches, such as a saddle and suspension tune, but it comes in only one model line with a suspension platform directly comparable to the Blur TR—a 120mm fork and 115mm of rear suspension. The Wilder is available in “Purple Sweetness and Lavender” in five builds starting at $4599. Find all the details over at JulianaBicycles.com.
