The Stinner Romero is a prototype of an upcoming full-suspension mountain bike from the California-based brand forged on the demanding local terrain of Santa Barbara. For more on this new model, dive into the details below…
The upcoming Stinner Romero, a new full-suspension mountain bike from the American brand, is built around the Ministry Cycles 3VO platform. Still in development, the Romero’s design impetus is based on the idea that they wanted to make a “big bike” that still delivers excellent ride quality and durability. To achieve this, Stinner feels the 3VO platform offers appropriate kinematics and design flexibility, resulting in a robust, welded-steel chassis that’s consistent with the rest of their lineup.
Although final details are still being dialed in, they have some travel and price targets they’d like to hit before the frame releases in 2026. Stinner is looking for the Romero to maintain rear travel between 150 and 160mm, with front travel around 160 to 180mm. Pricing targets are $2,800 for the frameset and $4,200 for the complete bike, with the build kit still to be determined. The video below offers some insights from its development:
