Japan-based Stomp Lox specializes in casually styled clipless riding shoes and sandals, and Ron’s Bikes just announced they’ll be distributing them in the US this fall. Check them out here…
Stomp Lox is a cycling shoe brand with a focus on casual, everyday use. The shoes are handmade in Shizuoka City, Japan, and until now, they weren’t readily available in North America. Their line consists of two clipless riding shoes and a clipless sandal, all designed to be comfortable to walk in and easy on the eyes. Both the Slak and Stomp Lox shoes are made from suede leather and use a lace-up closure, while the Trod Sandals are made from neoprene and synthetic leather.
Stomp Lox was born out of the desire for a high quality, casual riding shoe. There was nothing the founders liked on the market, so they approached a friend that studied shoe making in Italy, and the rest is history. While the original designs are modeled around what Stomp Lox calls “Asian-fit,” they’re working with Ultra Romance on a slightly different fit for US/EU sizing.
US-based Ron’s Bikes just announced they will be importing these shoes this fall, and are working with Stomplox on a hike-a-bike-friendly flat riding shoe as well. Keep an eye on @stomplox and @ronsbikes for more details, and head to Stomplox.com to learn more about the current lineup.
