Swift Industries just announced their latest bag, the 6L Olliepack Seat Bag, a roll-top saddlebag made from recycled Ecopack material. Swift worked closely with brand ambassadors Anton Krupicka and Hailey Moore in testing and developing the bag, driven by the goal of creating the most minimal bag possible for fast-and-light adventures.
Committed to building a sway-free bag and guided by the slogan “wag is whack,” the Olliepack is designed to move with the bike and function as if it’s a component, rather than an add-on. To that end, the resulting product is smaller than many options on the market and features an attachment system that the brand says increases vertical compression and minimizes lateral movement while maximizing contact with the saddle and seatpost.
Other features of the Olliepack include a mesh pocket on the underside of the bag and reflective detailing for added visibility. One important note from our testing for folks who run dropper posts is that the Olliepack’s strap isn’t long enough to work with a Wolf Tooth Valais and would need to be run directly around the post, increasing wear and wear on the stanchion.
