In the second episode of his new monthly podcast, The Mechanics of Joy, our friend Jon Woodroof and co-host Kike Molares turn their attention to all things bikepacking. Jon talks about his recent experiences at the 1,300-kilometer Bohemian Border Bash Race through Germany, Poland, and the Czech Republic, and Kike and Jon interview guest Chris Hall about his time racing at the 2021 BADLANDS in southern Spain. They also take a deep dive into bikepacking gear, discuss what it means for more people to be getting out into nature, and make some predictions about the future of cycling and what role bikepacking will play.
