Celebrating the 10th annual Transcontinental Race and 10 years since Josh Ibbett first attempted it, “Ultra Definition” is a new film from Mason Cycles that reflects on Josh’s relationship with the race and his plans to take on this year’s event. Watch it here…

Founded by Mike Hall in 2013, the Transcontinental Race (TCR) is an annual, self-supported, ultra-distance bikepacking race across Europe. The route and distance vary for each edition, but participants are free to choose their own route between the mandatory checkpoints. Riders usually cover around 4,000 kilometers (2,485 miles) during the race.

Ten years ago, Mason Cycles team rider Josh Ibbett took his first run at the TCR and went on to win the 2015 event. Josh’s story as an ultra-endurance athlete is intrinsic to Mason’s journey as a bicycle brand. Josh has played a key role in providing feedback to Mason and has helped develop their #FastFar models and brand into what it is today. Josh won the 2015 TCR aboard the first version of the Mason Definition and is returning this year on the updated Definition V3. Ultra Definition is a new film from Mason Cycles that explores Josh’s story as a racer and his relationship with Mason Cycles, the Definition, and the TCR. Watch it below:
