Veloci Cycles in Taiwan just announced an updated version of its Jimmy gravel bike, which now includes threaded cargo axles, more mounts, and a nifty optional matching rear rack. Check out the Veloci Jimmy V2.1 here…
The Veloci Jimmy V2.1 is the third iteration of the brand’s drop-bar gravel rig. In 2021, Jimmy was updated with a new frame design, a flashy “Steel Fin” rear dropout, and Shimano Di2 compatibility. The new Veloci Jimmy V2.1 features all that and a little more. It has the same tire clearance as the previous model (27.5 x 2.1″), and it’s still based around a heat-treated Chromoly steel frame with a carbon fork. However, it now has more mounting points and the option to purchase a matching rear rack to go with it.

Looing at the new suite of mounting options, the Veloci Jimmy V2.1 appears to maintain three-pack mounts on the fork, although it loses the top tube bosses, and both sets of bottle mounts inside the main triangle have been updated to three-packs. There’s a third set of mounts under the downtube, too, and Veloci has switched from brazed-on rear rack mounts to threaded bosses directly in the seat stays. The latest Jimmy still has the same dropout, but they’ve switched to threaded M5 axles for direct-mount rear rack setups.
