The new Wahoo ELEMNT ACE features a 3.8-inch touchscreen, improved navigation, a claimed 30-hour battery life, and an aero sensor that gives riders wind speed data. Through a relatively rudimentary calculation of the difference between ground speed and wind speed visualized through colored metrics on-screen, the new Wahoo ELEMNT ACE is the latest gadget endeavoring cyclists can buy to have a clearer, codifiable understanding of their aero gains and losses.

Other features and improvements to the Wahoo ELEMNT ACE include a digital bike bell, improved audio-based turn-by-turn navigation, and per Wahoo, the largest screen of any cycling computer on the market. At just under five inches long and nearly three inches wide, it rivals the size of some early smartphones. As is standard these days, the Wahoo ELEMNT ACE can sync with heart-rate sensors and other complementary devices but also features full cloud-based functionality through the Wahoo app.
