Our readers around the globe were out pedaling in some truly spectacular places over the weekend, and we’re excited to showcase a few of them for today’s Weekend Snapshot. What’s more fun than going bikepacking? Going bikepacking with a bunch of your friends! The White Rim in Utah’s Canyonlands National Park is a bucket list trip for many, and I was lucky enough to rally up there for a weekend trip with a stellar crew of friends from Flagstaff, half of whom had never gone bikepacking before! We were graced with a little weather window and enjoyed warm, cloudy days, but not without the ever-present spring winds that roll over the Southwest this time of year. It was an amazing experience to share with everyone.

I did a bikepacking trip around the Central Bohemian Region. I cycled 140 kilometers out on Friday and 140 back home on Saturday. I visited the remains of a windmill in Pricovy. This mill was built in the 16th century and was one of the largest in Europe. I continued through the beautiful spring landscape around Viklan (the wobbly stone) near Krásná Hora nad Vltavou, then rode on to Zvíkov Castle, a castle founded around the year 1250. Finally, I rested in the South Bohemian forests.
