Ben Alder, Scottish Highlands

By Mike Bremner
Taking a break after descending the Beallach Dubh looking back towards Ben Alder in the Highlands of Scotland. We had set out the day before on a circular path that picked up the Highland Trail 550 route at Loch Rannoch and followed it up the shores of Loch Ericht to spend a night at Scotland’s most haunted bothy, Ben Alder Cottage. We continued the next morning back to the car through some of the most beautiful terrain Scotland has to offer.
Col du Parpaillon, France

By Nathan Smith
An impromptu camp at 2,600 metres close to the (now closed) tunnel du Parpaillon. After realising we couldn’t make it through, we hastily set up camp as the sunset over the valley. After a chilly night, we were warmed by the morning sun and incredible views.
Trans-Mexico Norte

By Manuel Aldana
Bikepacking from Guadalajara to Toluca, 746 kilometers and over 10,000 meters of elevation. Rain, cold, sun, wind, exhaustion, every kind of road, dates, and unforgettable landscapes. Traveling by bike is pure magic. Within a single kilometer, you can be the happiest ever, and the next you’re questioning how you even got there, in the middle of nowhere pushing a 40-kilogram bike through the mud. Then you smile, knowing there’s only one way: forward.
