Helena, Montana
By Branton Holmes
One of my favorite things about bikepacking is seeing a landmark in the distance and knowing, “Wow, I’m going to ride all the way to that snowy peak and be camping there in a couple hours!” It’s so satisfying to physically see the progress that you make under your own power.
Heaphy Track, New Zealand
By Dan Roberts
Dusty Boyz hit the Heaphy Track at the opening weekend of May. Beautiful conditions between monthly storms that seem to now be the norm in Aotearoa. Warm temps, no wind, stunning scenery. Honestly couldn’t get better in what is a tropical paradise in the coastal section of this ride.
British Columbia, Canada
By Miles Arbour
After three wonderful months on the road, it feels so good to be back home. We made a last-minute decision to take advantage of some warm spring weather here on BC’s Sunshine Coast and got out for a quick overnighter up to a new-to-us lake following an adjusted version of the 10 Lakes Overnighter. Emily and I were joined by our friends Brett and Camille, and three other friends joined for the ride out one day as well.
Send Us Your Weekend Snapshot
We’ll be selecting three photos per week to feature in Weekend Snapshot. Send yours along for consideration, and if it’s selected, we’ll be in touch! Note: We prefer 3:2 ratio landscape-oriented photos.
