Victoria, Australia

In search of the coolest multi-night adventure right from our front door, my 10-year-old daughter and I went bikerafting in Port Philip bay, her first time on the raft! We stealth camped on the Friday and Saturday nights close to home in quiet little pockets of bushland, whilst weaving together as much singletrack and doubletrack as we could en route to the water. We then got in a few hours paddling each day before cycling right back to the house. It was an awesome reminder that adventure can be found anywhere, even in suburbia. You just have to go looking!

Aran and I completed the Montenegro Madness loop over the course of a week at the end of May. We were met with various sections of the route still being covered by snow which drastically slowed progress but made the trip extremely memorable! Aran and his Kona Sutra LTD successfully navigated this steep section without a hitch—that’s not to say he stayed on his feet every time!
Schwarzwald, Germany

I took advantage of the year’s first proper heat wave to escape to higher ground with my trusty Nordest and hammock. Expecting a calm and warm night, I was surprised to find Force 6 gusts of wind, a fluttering hammock, and surprisingly cool temperatures keeping me awake for the better part of the night. During the brief window between the half-moon setting and the sun rising, I was able to spend my time capturing the beautiful canopy of stars above.
