The Lake District, UK
By Ian White
I started September with the Lakeland 200. I’d been thinking about this route for quite some time, and what an adventure it was. Summer had well and truly left the chat, and I experienced classic Lake District weather. Luckily, I was constantly rewarded with epic views and long smile-inducing descents.
Snowy Range, Wyoming
By Jeff Kerkove
Three and a half days deep in the Snowy Range of Wyoming, chasing rocky, technical trails between alpine lakes and old burn scars. Three nights of lakeside camps, alpine lakes filled with hungry brook trout, a few curious moose encounters, and plenty of hike-a-bike through terrain that looked like it belonged on another planet. Wyoming brought the big views, the rough trails, and exactly the kind of adventure Bex and I came for.
Levocske Vrchy, Slovakia
By Gusto Orieška
Sunset next to the High Tatras, viewed from Ihla. Dry, windy, and warm, but beautiful.
