The low-lying mountains of the Örebro region might not look like much on paper, but in reality, they offer an adventurous playground for all to access. On our 140-kilometre overnight ride, we got to pedal on parts of the region’s extensive mountain bike network, freeze in the unexpected minus conditions, and watch the most beautiful sunrise we had ever seen.

A few weeks after the opening of their new bikepacking and yoga studio in Teruel, the guys from SuryaBikepacking gave us a beautiful weekend with bikes, yoga, and friends in the Sierra de Albarracín as an inauguration. This new meeting point is sure to have a great impact on the growing community in the area.

Weekend Snapshot

I set out on an overnighter to take in some lovely Vermont fall foliage. The plan was to climb to the top of a mountain and take in a sunset and sunrise. What I didn’t plan for was howling winds, intense fog, a punctured pillow, and the metallic sounds coming from the Grand Lodge all night. I woke up to nearly freezing temperatures and the realization that I lost a water bottle on a decent. But that’s nothing a hot cup of coffee in town can’t fix!
