I recently did a self-supported, four-day trip following the Los Tres Volcanes route from this site. It was a wonderful experience before the rainy season begins here and an incredible way to see a more unique side of this country.
Our local shop puts on two bikepacking trips a year to bookend the season. The fall trip this year was full of slow-rolling laughter.
