The newly released Wizard Works Snagla is a 3.5-liter waterproof hip pack that converts into a small handlebar bag for on- and off-bike adventures. Find all the details on the small brand’s London-made product here…

Last year, Wizard Works in London purchased a seam-taping machine, enabling them to upgrade select bags to 100% waterproofness. Now, they are on an ambitious journey to waterproof the entire lineup, and while some bags require minimal modifications, hip packs require more attention to dial in the design. The new Wizard Works Snagla is inspired by a convertible hip pack/bar bag that Wizard Works originally created for Pannier.cc in 2021, using a floating, seam-taped interior liner.

The Snagla features a plush, UK-made 9mm spacer mesh back panel, an offset main waist buckle to prevent discomfort, and an expandable roll-top closure with a nifty one-handed magnetic Fidlock Hook Buckle. As mentioned, the liner is floating, which allowed Wizard Works to use their new seam-sealing machine on it. The bag features two interior mesh pockets, and it is compatible with up to two of their Quick Draw Bottle Pockets for additional water storage. Emily has been using the Wizard Works Oglah Hip Pack for a few years now and loves the ability to carry a bottle on long rides.

For use on the bike, the Snagla’s hip wings slide neatly behind the back panel, and it attaches to your handlebars via daisy chain webbing on the rear. It’s available in three stock colors: Black, Olive, and Tan, or made to order in your choice of materials. Like Wizard Works’ other products, the Snagla is handmade in London. The Snagla costs £120 ($173 USD) and weighs 310 grams.
