Following up on The 806 Route: Type 2 Fun Along the Texas Panhandle, the piece we published last week from Brandon Weaver, Jerod Foster, and Justin Rex (find it linked at the bottom of this post), we’re sharing a three-part behind-the-scenes look at the trip as documented by the Adventure Media students at Texas Tech. Find two videos chronicling the group’s 375-mile ride through the Texas Pandle below, plus a third video that takes a broader look at the ins and outs of the Adventure Media class and its unique value for students.

The 806 Route: Episide One

In this episode, the group traverses the vast and dynamic geography from Lubbock to Floydada before moving northward to Caprock Canyons State Park, through historic ranch country, and finally to Amarillo.

The 806 Route: Epiode Two

In the second episode, the riders embark on a southward journey back to Lubbock via Lake Mackenzie and some of the most rural areas of the Texas Panhandle.
