Cycling to Argentina EP8: The Pacific Coast (Video)
The eighth episode of the “Cycling to Argentina” video series from Greg McCahon and Ana Victoria Cedillo finds them back in the United States and making their way down the Pacific Coast Highway, enjoying a break from the wintry conditions they experienced in Alaska and Canada. Following their brief but intense experience with winter in episode seven, Greg and Victoria were eager to reach the coast and the promise of warmer weather. Pedaling south through their last stretch of Canada and making their way through Vancouver, they narrowly escaped winter’s grasp and crossed back into the United States in Washington.
The duo had originally planned to ride more rugged roads further inland but opted to stick to the paved roads of the scenic Pacific Coast Highway for this segment of their ride, braving a bit of rain in exchange for the warmer weather, beautiful views, and chance to camp again after many cold nights spent inside farther north.
