This year’s Unbound XL event in Emporia, Kansas surprised riders with an extremely challenging 350-mile route along rough double track, gravel roads, and mountainous terrain. Ultra endurance athlete Lael Wilcox pushed through, earning herself a first place finish in the women’s race, completing the route in just over 26 hours.
