The new Panorama Taïga EXP is a drop-bar-specific version of the brand’s newly released steel hardtail mountain bike, complete with 29 x 2.6″ tire clearance, boost hub spacing, dropper post routing, and tons of mounting points. Check it out here…

A few months ago, Quebec-based Panorama Cycles jumped into the mountain bike scene with their first steel hardtail. The Taïga caught our attention due to its large tire clearance, steel frame, sliding dropouts, modern geometry, and value-packed build kit. And today, drop-bar lovers will be pleased to hear that Panorama Cycles has adapted the Taïga into a drop-bar-specific adventure rig, which includes many of the same specs as the flat-bar version but has a slightly tweaked geometry to accommodate drop bars.

Panorama Taiga EXP

The Panorama Taïga EXP is a drop-bar mountain bike built up around a Reynolds 725 steel frame and carbon fork. Both the frame and fork are kitted out with all the mounting points we like to see, with multiple triple-pack mounts, downtube bosses, rack and fender mounts, and even a spot for a bolt-on top tube bag. The Taïga EXP screams versatility with sliding dropouts, a split seat stay for belt-drive systems, 100mm travel suspension-corrected geometry, dropper post routing, boost hub spacing, and internal dynamo routing on the fork.

The Taiga EXP is offered in one well-rounded build kit that’s centred around Gevenalle GX shifters, an NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, HUNT XC Wide wheels, Avid BB7 mechanical brakes, and a 52cm wide Ritchey Beacon handlebar. The Taiga EXP comes stock with 29 x 2.25″ WTB Rangers (a favourite amongst bikepackers) but the frame and fork have clearance for 2.6″ tires. Check out the full build kit below.
