2026 Slow Coast qathet

The third annual Slow Coast qathet runs from the evening of Friday, August 28th, to the afternoon of Sunday, August 30th, 2026. Join us for a social evening (Friday night), followed by a group bikepacking overnighter to Texada Island (Sat-Sunday), following the Texada Ridge Runner route.

The fee to attend is $200, but after covering costs (campsites, ferries, food, merch, etc) everything will be donated to the groups participating in our panel discussion. This is your chance to learn more about the qathet Regional District, ride your bike, make a difference, and make friends.

Priority registration for LGBTQ, women, and BIPOC opens April 15th at 12pm PST. General registration opens a week later. Learn more at SlowCoast.ca.
