Peak to Pines is a 380-mile self-supported or relay bike event that takes participants from the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina to Francis Marion National Forest in South Carolina over the course of 48 hours in late fall. Riders can participate solo or build a relay team of 3-6 people with support during the weekend.

Riders will begin the Ranger District of Pisgah National Forest at the North Mills River Recreation Area and descend through the mountains to cross into the Upstate of South Carolina via tarmac and gravel. The course picks up the Palmetto Trail in Spartanburg for to create a mountains-to-low country traverse across NC and SC. Expect plenty of programming points along the route, including a finish line celebration at Whitewater Santee in Huger, SC after completing the Swamp Fox Passage in the Francis Marion National Forest.
