Salida to the Sea is a self-supported MTN bike event which covers over 2,000 miles of self-supported bikepacking terrain. The route traverses beautiful yet isolated landscapes of 5 states with approximately 147,000 feet of climbing. The event begins in the mountain town of Salida, Colorado, and ends in Port Orford, Oregon. The general bicycle recommendation is a hardtail with 2.2 inch tires.
