Swift Campout 2018 (4th Annual Solstice Overnighter)

Swift Industries just announced its 4th annual Swift Campout. Nominated “Best New Event” in our 2015 Bikepacking Awards, the Swift Campout is global call for a bikepacking overnighter to take place on the Saturday night closest to the Summer Solstice—this year, it’s on June 23rd, 2018. Given that this is one of the longest days of the year for folks in the Northern Hemisphere, that means more time for riding, swimming, fishing, or whatever other fun activities you want to weave into your solstice overnight trip.

Leading up to the event, the Swift Campout campaign serves as a twelve week digital skillshare for the adventure community, and includes assignments and prizes issued every two weeks for generating bike-camping content for the Swift Campout community. Swift Industries will be hosting the event at builtbyswift.com/swiftcampout, where campers can sign up to drop a pin on the Global Campout Map, tell stories and connect with local Swift Campers in their area, share their route knowledge in the Swift Campout Map Room, and win high quality outdoor and cycling gear from Swift Campout’s partner brands.

This year, Swift Industries is working with a broad range of outdoor brands: companies whose products or services enhance and inspire the experience of being in the great outdoors. Each company is contributing prizes for giveaways, and registration automatically enters Swift Campers to win incredible gear from these partnering brands.
