Congratulations go out to Ana Jager, the first woman to cross the finish line of the 2022 Tour Divide! Find a few photos and more about Ana’s ride here…

Just this morning, 25-year-old Alaskan endurance cyclist Ana Jager tackled the home stretch of New Mexican roadway to reach the finish line of the 2022 Tour Divide. Ana rolled into Antelope Wells aboard a Salsa Cutthroat a few minutes ago at 7:54 a.m. local time, taking first place in the women’s category with a finish time of 19 days and 54 minutes (19:00:54). It appears Ana rode through the night with a possible attempt to complete the course in under 19 days, which was likely a motivating factor. Ana maintained a hefty 100-mile lead over Katie Strempke, who appears to be positioned for a second place spot.

This is Ana’s rookie year on the Tour Divide, but Ana is no stranger to competition, being from an XC-ski racing family. Ana is also a coach in the GRIT program in Anchorage founded by Lael Wilcox. Congratulations, Ana!
