Heads up! Today is the final day to join the Bikepacking Collective in time to receive the 12th issue of The Bikepacking Journal and have a chance to win one of 20 prizes worth around $10,000. Find details and get signed up to support the site before tonight’s cutoff here…

The deadline to join the Bikepacking Collective and have your membership commence with The Bikepacking Journal 12 is today, April 17th, by 11:59 p.m. EST. If you sign up after tonight’s cutoff, you’ll have to wait for our 13th issue in the fall and will miss out on a chance to win the Fairlight Faran 2.5 or one of 20 other prize packages in the current round of giveaways worth around $10,000.

The Bikepacking Journal 12

Coming up in our 12th issue’s 160 vibrant pages, we join another gifted group of writers, photographers, and artists on their bikepacking journeys through some of the most spectacular places on the planet. With features from the north and south of Africa, the alluring Andes, the unforgiving terrain of Death Valley, the charming French countryside, the fascinating backroads of Cuba, and many other destinations you’ll have to read about and see for yourself, there’s a little something for everyone inside. We’re eagerly awaiting the opportunity to share the year’s most immersive and inspiring pieces in print.

As always, we’ve carefully curated a mix of thought-provoking essays and immersive narratives. This is yet another issue you won’t want to miss. The full collection of stories is exclusively available in print, and once tonight’s deadline has passed, it won’t be possible to get a copy of our 12th issue, as we print just one copy for each member. We take great pride in doing so, and the Journal is produced at a world-class printer in Germany using top-notch papers and inks. It’s designed to be something you can proudly display on your coffee table or bookshelf for years to come.

Fairlight Faran 2.5 Giveaway

We’re thrilled to share our grand prize Collective Reward giveway for this round of prizes, made possible by the small team at Fairlight Cycles in the UK. We’ll be randomly choosing one member of the Bikepacking Collective to receive a Fairlight Faran 2.5 frameset in their choice of color (Midnight Blue, Moss, or Winter Bracken), plus a Hope headset and seat clamp and a one-of-a-kind set of custom laser-engraved dropout plates. All total, that’s a roughly $1,400 value for our winner. Additionally, as a bonus, our winner will also receive a set of laser-engraved goodies from Bentley Components in the UK that includes a top cap, bar-end plugs, and two mini bottle openers.
