Announced this morning, the new C17 Special Recycled Nylon from Brooks England is a limited edition Cambium saddle crafted from environmentally friendly materials and recycled fibers. Find more details and photos here…

The newest member of the Brooks Cambium family takes all the comfort and durability of my favorite saddle and wraps it in innovative eco-friendly materials. The Brooks C17 Special Recycled Nylon is built from industrial remainders that were converted into nylon yarn and woven into a fabric, eliminating the need to use new materials. That recycled fabric is vulcanized to a sustainably harvested natural rubber top that provides weather protection and flexes with your movement on the bike. And the nosepiece and backplate of the C17 are created from liquid wood, a 100% biodegradable biopolymer made from byproducts from the industrial paper production industry.

Brooks C17 Recycled

Brooks’ limited edition C17 Special Recycled Nylon is available in Black or Tan, and both colors are priced at $150, which is $20 above the price of a standard C17 saddle. As with other Cambiums, it’s guaranteed against defects in materials or workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
