Handmade in California, the redesigned Chromoly steel mountain bike handlebar lineup from BTCHN’ Bikes features refined specs and a new bent cross-bar. Take a closer look at the entire lineup here…

BTCHN’ Bikes in Chico, California, has been offering handmade steel and titanium drop-bar and flat-bar handlebars for a while now. A few years ago, they even built an in-house test rig so that every bar they make meets ISO standards, which is impressive given that each bar is handmade in their shop.

The entire mountain bike handlebar lineup has been updated with tweaked diameters, wall thicknesses, and crossbar placement to make them the best versions yet. The cross-bar is now slightly bent in the center, which is less likely to shear off at the weld, but, according to BTCHN’ more compliant as well.

The 4130 chromoly steel lineup is available in two backsweep options: 13° or 16°, in a choice of low-rise (35mm), mid-rise (50mm), or high-rise (70mm). Each one is made from 4130 Chromoly steel, with a 22.2mm clamp diameter and an 800mm width, which can be trimmed as needed.

The updated BTCHN’ 4130 bars cost $180 USD and are available now from BTCHNBikes.com.
